Although web filters are marketed as a means of protecting kids from inappropriate and harmful websites, they often create a digital landscape that is riddled with arbitrary roadblocks. Web filters don't just screen content—they systematically cut students off from essential resources, creating invisible barriers to learning, health, and well-being.

Is Your School Blocking You? is an educational initiative that aims to create awareness and build resistance against policies and technologies that undermine students’ ability to use the Internet to support their educational and personal needs.
